Ensign PTA

January Eagle Notes

As we start 2018 we want everyone to know how much we value the support of the parent community at Ensign.  We also want our teachers to know how much their time, energy and effort are appreciated. Together we make Ensign a great place for our students!

PTA Meeting

As we look toward January, please join us for our PTA meeting this Friday, January 12 at 11:30 in the PTA room. Light refreshments are served, young children are welcome and we will be looking at the remaining PTA events for this school year.

Science Fair

We look forward to seeing you next week on Tuesday, January 16 at Science Night and also at the Science Fair on January 17.  We are still in need of a few parents to help judge projects on the 17th.  A scoring rubric will be provided to you and we need parents to be available from 8:30 to 10:30 on the morning of the 17th.  Please let either Amy Fehlberg or Stacey Mahan know if you are able to support our students in this way.

Messaging Change

We are making a change to the way information is delivered to parents.  Starting this week, Ensign will be using a school messenger system that will deliver a weekly message to parents that is sent by Dr. Kirby.  This message will be delivered on Fridays in the late afternoon.  You will still have access to the same PTA information- you will find it along with other information from the school and it will be posted on the PTA section of Ensign's website as well.  Our goal is to make information easily available to all families.

Talent Show

This month is also the talent show! Be on the look out for more information about this opportunity for students to perform for their friends and family.  The talent show will be held on January 30.

Gallery Stroll

Finally,  please mark your calendars for March 16 for Gallery Stroll.  This art filled evening provides a silent auction and opportunity drawings that have appeal for all ages.  The funds raised from this evening go to support performing and visual arts at Ensign.  We look forward to seeing you there!
